Before Dawn movie details

Story without spoilers

The film takes place in a spacious third-floor apartment that is notably the only one in the building with its lights on. Inside, former classmates meet for a reunion filled with conversation, laughter and the sound of clinking glasses.

Their plan is to stay together until morning, repeating the kind of all-night gathering they experienced on prom night. The evening proceeds normally until attendees begin disappearing without leaving a trace. From that point, the reunion becomes the center of an unexplained situation, with the limited setting placing attention on the missing guests and the group’s shared night.

What to expect

Before Dawn is a compact mystery built around a social gathering that gradually becomes unsettling. Its 11-minute runtime suggests a tightly focused premise, while the apartment setting gives the story a contained backdrop.

The supplied synopsis points to a shift from reunion drama to disappearance-driven suspense. Viewers can expect an atmosphere shaped by contrast: a brightly occupied apartment, familiar conversation and laughter, followed by the disruption caused when people vanish without explanation.
