Story without spoilers

Mr. Lockwood arrives at Wuthering Heights without realizing that Catherine’s ghost still haunts the property. Her presence is tied to Heathcliff, an obsessed lover who uses human sacrifice in an attempt to give her soul a new body.

As Lockwood becomes increasingly sick and delusional, the estate grows more threatening. He is pulled into the couple’s destructive bond and must find a way out before he becomes the next target of their supernatural fixation.

What to expect

This is a horror film built around a haunted-house setting, a vengeful ghost and an obsessive relationship that extends beyond death. The premise points to an atmosphere of isolation and supernatural menace, with Lockwood’s illness and growing delusions placing the story firmly around psychological and physical peril.

The supplied information also identifies human sacrifice and the search for a new body as central elements of the threat. Viewers can therefore expect a dark reinterpretation of the Wuthering Heights setting rather than a straightforward literary drama.
