Story without spoilers

The film follows Taffik as she pilots an illegal scrapping spacecraft in a distant-future setting. Alongside that hazardous occupation, she recounts her upbringing in the slums of an industrial space station, shifting the focus between her life as an adult pilot and the experiences that shaped her earlier years.

The cast also includes Priscilla Marotta as Young Taffik and Britt MacLennan as Taffik's Mother, supporting the story's connection between Taffik's present and childhood. The supplied synopsis keeps the wider plot details private, so the film's specific conflicts and progression remain best discovered without added speculation.

What to expect

Torus combines science-fiction setting with drama rather than presenting itself solely as a space adventure. Its premise points to a story built around an illegal occupation, an industrial space-station environment and a protagonist looking back on her childhood in difficult surroundings.

The 72-minute runtime suggests a compact film, while the presence of both Taffik and Young Taffik indicates that the character's life is explored across different stages. Beyond those elements, the available information does not specify the film's visual approach, tone, action level or ending.
