Story: Checco, a youthful and ambitious entrepreneur from Apulia, tries his hand at running a sushi restaurant in his hometown. Unfortunately, after just a month, the venture fails, leading him to seek a new life in Africa to escape his financial troubles. In Kenya, he takes on the role of a waiter in a resort. However, with the onset of civil war, Checco decides to join his new African friends on a perilous stowaway journey across the sea to Europe. He has no desire to return to Italy and instead dreams of reaching Liechtenstein, lured by its attractive banking secrecy and lower tax rates compared to Italy.
