Story: This film follows a young man living as a postulant in a monastic community. While deeply engrossed in the life of contemplation alongside his fellow monks, he plays a crucial role in helping those persecuted by the communist regime escape to Germany. However, during one return trip, he witnesses a brutal assault on a group of students attempting to flee from a nearby village where they were compelled to work. That night marks a turning point as a monastic community is dismantled during an event known as Action K (April 1950), and the protagonist, Christopher, sees their transport taking place, powerless to intervene and save his friends.
