Story: Set in 37 BC, “Illyricvm” follows a young Liburnian named Volsus, who is enlisted by a Roman contingent for what initially appears to be a straightforward task of collecting taxes. However, encounters with local Illyrian tribes soon take a surprising turn, revealing their fierce resistance to Roman domination. Through the eyes of Volsus, who is viewed by the Romans as a mere barbarian, we delve into a world rich with complex emotions, long-held traditions, and unique laws, ultimately discovering that the differences between their culture and ours are not as vast as they seem.
