Story without spoilers

A local businessman plans to tear down an old house so the land can be used for parking his trucks. The building is also a familiar place for children, who spend time there as they grow up. Luka, one of those children, believes a monster lives in the house and asks it for help.

The situation changes when Luka’s father is injured during the demolition. Rather than treating the event as something outside his control, Luka starts to believe that his decision to seek the monster’s help may have caused the accident. The film’s central tension comes from that fear and uncertainty.

What to expect

Based on its premise, Haunted House combines a child-centered story with supernatural and dramatic elements. The threatened house provides the setting for a conflict between a practical development plan and a place tied to the children’s everyday lives.

The short runtime suggests a focused narrative built around Luka’s belief in the monster and the emotional consequences of the demolition accident. The available information identifies the film as a Serbian production but does not list a specific genre classification beyond its supernatural premise.
