Story without spoilers

The film centers on a female police detective described as rational and emotionally distant. She investigates the disappearance of a girl in a region whose reputation is shaped by black magic and pagan traditions.

As the inquiry progresses, the case takes her beyond a conventional search for evidence. Her investigation gradually becomes an encounter with a mythical world, creating a story that sits between crime procedural, supernatural mystery and fantasy drama without revealing how the case unfolds.

What to expect

Frost is positioned as a genre blend rather than a straightforward crime story. The supplied premise points to an investigation-driven narrative with fantasy elements, a mysterious setting and an increasingly mythical dimension.

The detective’s emotionally reserved personality provides a clear contrast with the folklore-oriented region around her. Viewers can expect the film to move between crime, thriller, mystery, drama and fantasy, while keeping the missing-girl investigation at its center.
