Story: In this compelling narrative, Dagohoy is playing his flute by a river when he is interrupted by a haunting voice revealing the tragic death of his brother. A compassionate villager discovers Dagohoy in pain and helps to mend his wounds. Following this, Dagohoy is confronted by a ‘spirit’ in a dream, prompting him to seek the wisdom of Tamblot, a powerful Babaylan and revolutionary leader. During a ceremony meant to heal and empower the new resistance fighters, the Friar witnesses a traditional baptism that he opposes, sparking a fierce clash with Tamblot. As Dagohoy continues to be visited by the mysterious spirit, the revolutionaries rally behind him, igniting a significant uprising that will span 85 years in the quest for justice.
