Story: Sinterklaas is back and it’s time for the highly anticipated “Great Gingerbread Baking Competition.” Bakers from across the nation are competing for the prestigious title of Master Baker of the Year. Marco Marsepein is on a quest to win yet again, relying on his beloved grandmother’s secret recipe that has always brought him success. However, this year, Bartus Bakker and his father are determined to steal the spotlight. The nefarious duo plots to swipe Marco’s secret recipe and sabotage his gingerbread dough. When Bartus ultimately claims victory, Marco is heartbroken and considers leaving Sinterklaas’s castle to return to Italy for good. But can a Sinterklaas celebration truly shine without Marco Marsepein and his delicious gingerbread?
