🎬 Title: Milan Sládek

Story: In the early 1960s, Milan Sládek was at the forefront of modern Slovak pantomime. He drew inspiration from French mimes but quickly developed his own theatrical style. Following the invasion of Soviet troops in 1968, Sládek left for Germany. He toured the globe with his performances, founded the Kefka mime theater, and initiated the international Kaukliar theater festival. Now residing in Cologne, Germany, he continues to perform well into his eighties. The film is rich in archival content, including photos, performance recordings, and testimonies from his collaborators. It not only chronicles Sládek’s personal journey but also highlights the experiences of an entire generation of Slovak theater artists.
