🎬 Title: Coma / Кома
Wake up to save everyone
Story: A young and talented architect comes to his senses after a horrific accident only to find himself in the odd dystopian world. A world that is filled with the memories of all current coma patients. Just like a human memory this world is fragmental, chaotic and unstable. This is COMA: icecaps, rivers and cities can all exist in a space of a single room and laws of physics are no longer laws as they can be bent.

Editor’s note: Our short take on Coma (2020): Firmly a Science Fiction, Adventure, Action piece, but with a personal touch. With Nikita Argunov at the helm, the film feels purposeful and well-paced. Rinal Mukhametov, Anton Pampushnyy, Lyubov Aksyonova anchor the film with grounded, unshowy work. Clocking in at 1h 50m, the pacing is controlled, with room to breathe. Not universally praised, but there’s enough here for curious genre fans. “Wake up to save everyone” sums up the film’s focus better than most trailers do. Worth a watch for the craft alone, even beyond the genre appeal.
