Story: Set in France during the late 19th century, “Miss Violet” follows Louise Violet, a 40-year-old teacher from Paris who is dispatched to a rural community. In a place where life revolves around the rhythms of nature and agriculture, she faces the challenge of persuading local parents to enroll their children in school. With the mayor’s support, she gradually gains acceptance from both parents and their children. However, Louise’s past soon resurfaces, presenting new challenges.
