Story: The film follows 16-year-old Kayla Adams, whose mother, Karen, is urged by the school counselor to seek treatment for her daughter at a youth residential center after Kayla faces expulsion. Upon her arrival at the Utah facility, Kayla meets Amanda, her new roommate who is already familiar with the harsh realities of the program. Under the leadership of Miss Connie, the headmistress, the staff employs severe tactics, such as forced medication, arbitrary punishments, isolation, and both verbal and physical abuse to maintain control. As Kayla and Amanda are pushed to their limits and stripped of their connections to the outside world, they must unite to endure their challenging circumstances and expose the mistreatment before it becomes too late.
