Story without spoilers

The film uses advertisements from the 1950s and 1960s to examine what its premise describes as the immediate attempt to persuade children to take part in an exploitational capitalist marketplace. Rather than presenting a conventional fictional narrative, it focuses on the messages and commercial appeal found in period advertising footage.

Its supplied tagline—“BUY MY PRODUCT! FEED YOUR FAMILY! FUEL YOUR PLEASURE! FUEL MY PLEASURE!”—reflects the film’s direct, confrontational framing of consumer persuasion. The available synopsis does not identify specific products, campaigns or featured advertisements.

What to expect

At five minutes, Immediate Infantile Indoctrination is a compact documentary rather than a feature-length investigation. Viewers can expect a tightly focused use of 1950s and 1960s advertisement footage and an argument about the relationship between childhood, persuasion and consumer culture.

The film’s premise and tagline suggest an openly critical perspective on commercial influence. Beyond that, the supplied information does not establish its structure, editing approach, interview format or overall tone, so those aspects are best left open.
