Story without spoilers

The protagonist of Cuddle Café has allowed his life to remain stuck. Rather than confront the problems troubling him, he retreats into ignorance and quiet laziness while loneliness becomes a normal part of the world around him.

After work one evening, he enters a Cuddle Café, a place built around paid human warmth. What follows forms the central story, with the café becoming the setting for a moment that may challenge his usual passivity. The supplied synopsis keeps the outcome undisclosed, so the film’s later developments are best approached without assumptions.

What to expect

As a drama, Cuddle Café is positioned around character and emotional circumstance rather than a broad action-driven premise. Its central ideas include alienation, loneliness and the contrast between genuine human need and warmth treated as a commercial service.

The short runtime suggests a focused narrative built around one protagonist and a pivotal evening. The concept also carries a bittersweet quality: the café offers comfort, but its existence reflects a society in which closeness has become something people purchase. The film is spoken in Tamil, Kannada and English.
