Adult Supervision movie details

Story without spoilers

The film centers on Bill, Bobo and Pontus, three fathers accompanying their teenage daughters during a school trip to an isolated island. What starts as a quiet getaway is disrupted by a series of unexpected difficulties, placing pressure on the adults and their attempts to maintain order.

Each father approaches parenting through the influence of his own past. Their contrasting views lead to tension, while memories of earlier experiences force them to consider their shortcomings and the mistakes they have made. The central question concerns how much control they truly have over the trip and the people around them.

What to expect

Adult Supervision combines dramatic family conflict with comedy. Its premise places the story in a remote setting where practical problems and competing parenting philosophies can intensify existing tensions. The film also uses the trip to examine how the fathers’ pasts affect their behavior in the present, without reducing the story to a straightforward getaway narrative.
