Story without spoilers

Katja cannot afford to accompany her dance team to Gothenburg, but her circumstances change when her eccentric grandmother Lydia appears after serving time in prison. Lydia was once a jewel thief and believes a stolen diamond bracelet is hidden somewhere at Bakken amusement park.

Katja and her brothers join Lydia in the search, giving the family a chance to solve their financial problem before the trip. They are not alone, however: a smuggler’s henchman is also pursuing the diamonds, creating a race against time as the group searches for the hidden treasure.

What to expect

The film combines family adventure, comedy and a treasure hunt. The premise points to a story about siblings working together under pressure, with Bakken amusement park serving as the central setting for the search. The competition between Katja’s group and the smuggler’s henchman provides the main source of suspense.

Because the story is built around a dance trip, a grandmother with a criminal past and concealed diamonds, viewers can expect a light, accessible adventure rather than a dark crime drama. The 1-hour-22-minute runtime also positions it as a compact family film.
