Story without spoilers

Cal is due to call an Uber in fifteen minutes, but the group is not exactly ready. Henrietta is still applying her makeup, Bridget is trying on clothes belonging to everyone else, and Josie has only just returned from her shift. Amid the last-minute rush, the friends must work out whose house party they are supposed to be attending.

What to expect

This is a compact comedy-drama built around an immediately recognizable social situation: friends trying to leave on time while each person is dealing with a different obstacle. The short runtime suggests a brisk, concentrated piece rather than an expansive narrative, with the humor arising from the group’s disorganization and the drama coming from the pressure of the countdown.

The cast includes Frankie McNair, Tatiana Kotsimbos, Madi Savage and Kaiya Jones. Rubina Smith serves as both director and writer.
