What to expect

The supplied genre labels place Pooja Meri Jaan across thriller, crime and romance, suggesting a story driven by investigation and personal conflict rather than a straightforward love story. Its premise focuses on the consequences of rejection, the pressure of public or personal blame, and the search for a reliable account of a tragic event.

The film’s emotional and dramatic focus is likely to come from the opposing perspectives surrounding Pooja and Aniket, with Sana’s investigation providing the narrative framework. The synopsis does not reveal the final explanation or outcome, so the film is best approached as a spoiler-sensitive mystery about consent, responsibility and competing versions of the truth.
