Story: Set in 1943, “Frontier” tells the gripping tale of Franco’s regime obstructing Jewish refugees attempting to escape Nazi persecution by traversing the treacherous Pyrenees mountains. In a quaint border village, Manel Grau, a civil servant haunted by his Republican past, makes a bold choice to defy his superiors and assist these desperate refugees. Alongside his village companion Juliana and Jérome, a resourceful French smuggler, they embark on a perilous mission aimed at providing sanctuary to as many Jews as they can.
