🎬 Title: Zero
Story: Set in a futuristic Berlin, “Zero” unfolds around a covert meeting between a high-ranking executive from the leading internet company “Freemee” and government officials. Unbeknownst to them, camera drones capture the conversation in real-time, broadcasting it online. The anonymous activist network known as “Zero” takes responsibility for this media breach. The plot centers on Cynthia Bonsant, a single mother and journalist tasked by the online magazine “Daily” to investigate “Zero.” This group is deemed a terrorist organization, yet they claim to oppose the overwhelming control exerted by the “Act App,” which governs users’ lives. Following the tragic shooting of her daughter’s friend, whom the police mistakenly targeted during a criminal chase, “Zero” reaches out to Cynthia to enlist her. As she digs deeper, Cynthia grows increasingly concerned about the impending release of a revised version of the app that could drastically change everything.
