Synopsis: After her laundromat is destroyed by a fire, single mother Duk-hee unexpectedly receives a phone call from a bank offering a substantial loan. Desperate for support, she accepts the offer, only to soon discover that she has fallen victim to a voice phishing scam. Disheartened, she turns to the police for assistance, but they inform her there’s little chance of recovering her lost funds. Just when she thinks all is lost, Jae-min, the scammer who deceived her, calls to reveal he’s been coerced into making these calls by a crime syndicate in China. Motivated by this shocking revelation, Duk-hee vows to uncover the truth herself, embarking on a journey to China with the help of her friends.
