Story: Set during the summer of 1978, the film follows high school student Kurita, who finds inspiration in Star Wars. He and his friend Ozawa decide to film a spaceship scene using an 8mm camera. When discussing projects for their school festival, Kurita proposes creating a sci-fi movie, and his idea wins the vote. Along with their movie-loving classmate Sasaki, the boys begin planning their film and successfully persuade Yamashita, the most popular girl in class, to take on the lead role. Throughout their summer break, the group works on their project, “Time Reverse,” which tells the story of an alien spaceship coming to Earth to reverse time to save humanity from itself.
