Story: The narrative follows Shakuntala, the daughter of Meneka and Rishi Vishwamitra, who resides in the forest under the guidance of her mentor, Rishi Kanva. While in the wilderness, she encounters King Dushyant, and they fall in love, eventually getting married. After they have a child, Prince Bharata, Dushyant is forced to leave Shakuntala behind, promising to return soon. Unfortunately, due to a sage’s curse, he forgets her completely until fate intervenes to reunite them.
