Story: When a major blunder leaves a well-meaning law-school graduate struggling to secure employment, he finds himself forced to navigate a morally questionable divorce law firm, much like Dante in his famous work. This dark comedy showcases the protagonist’s unwavering commitment to uphold his ethics as he confronts the laughable yet tragic absurdities of corrupt lawyers, troubled clients, and a dysfunctional family law system. In the pilot, we meet Tommy Laudadio, a principled law-school graduate facing dire consequences due to his error, frantically searching for a job. At a divorce law firm interview, he witnesses the owner and his accomplice engaging in intimidation and deceit against clients. As Tommy attempts to assist these clients, he is confronted with the comically tragic flaws of the family legal system. This could be Tommy’s last opportunity to secure a promising future, but it becomes evident that he may have to abandon all his principles to seize it.
